Our Projects
The Sally Clinic Project (SCP) offers many opportunities to get involved with our organization. If you would like to contribute your money and/or time to any
of the projects listed below, contact us.
Sally Clinics
With Woman
is working globally to improve not only the health of women but the health
and livelihood of families. To this end, With Woman has created The Sally Clinic Project, in Uganda, Africa. The first Sally Clinic was opened in the rural village of Mwanyangiri, in Wankoba Parrish of Mukono District, in April of 2007. Our long range goals include opening additional clinics in other needy villages in Uganda. In addition to general healthcare the clinic provides midwife delivered maternity services.
Your help will save many lives. Any amount will help move this project forward. Funds go directly to the building, running, and furnishing of clinics. The need is urgent. Please help keep this project viable.

Self Sufficiency Project
We believe the best way for us to contribute to good nutrition is to contribute to self-sufficiency - family to family and village to village. To this end, the Sally Clinic Project has a self-sufficiency component in the villages we serve. Our organization donates money to individuals and groups for micro-finance projects facilitated by the Poverty Alleviation Department of the Ugandan government and managed by the local community. The loans are structured so that the recipient repays the loan out of profits. The money is then circulated back into the community to assist others with micro-finance loans. (This component is currently on hold due to lack of community organization. We hope to remedy this in the near future). Contact us.
Kirabo Scholarship Project
For the price of a pizza dinner - $30 dollars - you can help the children of Mwanyangiri by providing such things as daily hot porridge, notebooks, school supplies, uniforms, shoes and other items necessary for a successful education. Primary school children as selected based on need. Money, in the form of supplies and uniforms is distributed to needy students on the basis of individual need. Typically, a $30 donation funds all of the needs of one child for one school year. There are currently 50 students, with varying needs, sponsored under this program at the primary school in Mwanyangiri. Contact us.
Student Ambassadors
Our program provides high school and college aged students an opportunity to live in a model village and participate in With Woman sponsored programs and projects in Uganda. As Student Ambassadors, these young leaders travel under the banner of With Woma's Sally clinic Project and represent the best of our country: hope, courage, openness, a love of peace and a willingness to help others. This program is entirely self-funded by the participating students. Contact us.
Humanitarian Volunteers
Volunteers are the backbone of our organization and we offer many opportunities to join us. Adults are needed to help coordinate and supervise activities and service projects for the Student Ambassador program and act as positive role models for youth, encouraging leadership and personal development. Volunteers are also periodically invited to travel to Uganda to help with community projects or to create their own project and execute it in one of the villages we serve. Contact us.
Midwifery Internships
We are
in the process of creating a program which will provide internships for midwives and student midwives at our Sally Clinic in
Mwanyangiri,
Uganda. If you are interested in travelling to Uganda
to gain clinical midwifery experience, contact Carrie Sparrevohn at cskirabo@yahoo.com .
