About Us
With Woman is an independent California non-profit corporation with applied for
Federal 501(c)(3) status. The Sally Clinic Project is an undertaking of With Woman.
The organization which created the Sally Clinic Project (SCP) was created by six midwives in California in 2001. As the SCP was being organized we realized that there was another organization with the same name and focus. In November of 2007 the two organizations began working together under one name and tax status. The original organizers of the SCP continue to administer and direct the project. We are dedicated to furthering the midwives model of care and providing educational opportunities for student midwives. In addition, we recognize that healthcare delivered in a vacuum is ineffective and so we embrace a holistic model that encompasses education and furthering the ability of families to exist and thrive. We are dedicated to forging partnerships with other organizations to advance these goals.
