I am the Mother of two teenagers: Lexie Ruth & Zachariah. My success in life has come from my inherent ability to consciously create, birth, breastfeed, nurture and educate my children.

I am a registered nurse & international board-certified lactation consultant with professional experience in newborn intensive care, labor & birth, and in-home prenatal, postpartum and well-baby care coordination.

In addition to nursing, I have earned graduate-level degrees in biology and business administration. I am currently considering law & ethics for my doctoral work.
I have received the following training: How to Start a Birth Center (AABC), Birth Advocacy (Birthing the Future), and Partners for a Healthy Baby Home Visiting Curriculum (FSU Center for Prevention & Early Intervention). I have also provided research assistance to Ilana Chertok PhD RN IBCLC and personal assistance to Suzanne Arms during the planning and production of The Time Is Now.

I am passionate about patient-centered care, and strive to facilitate informed consent in the our healthcare system. I specialize in the PRIMAL PERIOD(preconception to age 1) because I know it intuitively, as well as scientifically and economically, to be a normal physiological process, the success of which is challenged in our culture by the myth that we must use medicine and money to ensure health and wellness during this time.

My hope is that you will give me the opportunity to be a part of your healthcare team - your personal nurse who will advocate for you and your baby. I give in public service my education, my experience, and my passion for this most sacred time in the creation of an individual.
